Until October 2001, the CCAQ(FB) was the component of the Consultative Committee on Administrative Questions which addressed financial and budgtary questions. It was the central forum in which the system organizations reviewed major policy issues in the budgetary and financial area. It was the mechanism whereby the ACC could provide a coordinated response to financial matters of concern to such bodies as the Fifth Committee of the General Assembly, governing bodies, and the Panel of External Auditors. Since 2002, inter-agency coordination in this area is carried out by the High-Level Committee on Management and its Finance and Budget Network.
